We desire to learn about and appreciate each person who walks through our doors. Everyone has their own story, we want to honor yours.

Our Mission in creating Dharma Dwellings was to provide a home away from home experience for our guests. We believe that our company fulfills our inner calling to live life in a way that is meaningful on an individual level. Our Dharma, or path, consists of impacting others lives by providing Comfortable and tranquil housing options in the center of Rochester MN.

We strive to provide ease and flexibility to allow you to focus on rest and recovery. We offer personalized services, where we honor the soul in you.

Our short term furnished rentals are the perfect way to experience the Med City. We focus on hosting patients and their families, but have had numerous guests from residents learning how to practice medicine of the 21st century, families get togethers, weddings, or those visiting Rochester for events! Our three homes are centrally located, and we are able to offer an unparalleled flexibility with your stay as we have all three homes next to each other! Spending some time in one of our rentals will show you why we love being a part of this community!

We have stayed at Dharma Dwelling homes many times (5 to 10 I would guess). Their homes are very welcoming as well as super convenient. They are very near the Rochester Rec Center if you are coming for sports. There is lots of space to spread out, a fully stocked kitchen with all the necessary pots and pans, nice shampoo and conditioner, up to date appliances, good internet and movies, and a generally cozy home. Alex is very responsive to questions as well as very accommodating to all our weird check-in and check-out time requests. We highly recommend these properties and hosts.

The Dharma Dwelling properties in Rochester are easily the best places to stay while in Rochester for vacation, state parks, or visits to Mayo Clinic! Alex and Emily are fantastic owners and are friendly and responsive. The houses are very comfortable, constantly updated, and have great features. I have stayed in three of their properties and all three have been in the top tier of short/long term rentals. The neighborhood is super cozy and safe, and is close to downtown/Mayo and a short drive to great nature. If you need a place to stay in Rochester, look no further!

We stayed at Dharma Dwellings for a week during a National USTA competition. Two families party of 8. The house was clean, nice, and accommodating. The area was very nice with lots to do! My family and I have stayed at Dharma Dwellings twice now and soon to be a third time. They are the perfect location for our Mayo visits. The house is always clean and ready for us when we arrive. Alex and Emily communicate to us quickly. They provide a great list of attractions and things to do. Their house is cozy and has become a comfort during treatments. We appreciate them both for being so accommodating to our needs! Definitely recommend staying at Dharma Dwellings!

We have stayed in three different Dharma Dwellings houses during our bi-monthly trips to Mayo Clinic! We LOVE staying at their properties! The houses are all well stocked, comfortable beds and bedding, all houses are decorated beautifully, lots of natural lighting, and in amazing locations for a quick commute to Mayo and downtown. There are so many thoughtful touches to their properties, we notice something new each trip and appreciate all of the attention to details they put into their houses! The hosts are VERY responsive and easily to communicate with and really provide a top notch experience! When you come to Rochester, book one of Dharma Dwellings properties. You won’t regret it!!

Poppy's Paradise has a special place in our hearts after a long term stay in Dec. The house was clean, cozy, and very comfortable for a month long stay. It is situated in an adorable neighborhood on a quiet street. There is garage access, which is very important in December in MN. The kitchen is very functional and appliances are very new. The extra downstairs living space was amazing for working remotely and working out! Hosts are absolutely amazing...kind, responsive, and flexible. Planning on returning in Feb for another amazing stay!
